手紙社｜山泥泥 yamadoro・スタンプ「Lucky Letter」

手紙社オリジナルアイテム初登場！　山になって、太陽になって、好きなものをそっと包み込んでいきたい。そんな想いで制作を行なっている台湾の作家・山泥泥 Yamadoro（シャンニーニー ヤマドロ）さん。 小さな星さんたちが手紙を運んでいる様子がなんとも愛らしい！　「TO」の文字が入ったスタンプは、メッセージカードやおすそわけ袋に押すのにぴったりです。

Here’s the background story and some thoughts behind this stamp set, as well as a few of my personal favorites: “Even though Taiwan is a small island surrounded by sea, my memories of the ocean feel strangely distant. I opened up a storage box and found one labeled ‘The Sea.’ The first wave of memories that hit me was of a bottle of star sand. The note inside had faded, but I could still make out the first line I had once written with all my heart: ‘Hi, future me. How are you?’ This time, I drew many little glass bottles sealed with cork stoppers— hoping that everyone can slowly fill them with their own memories and things they love.”

台湾は海に囲まれた小さな島ですが、海の思い出が妙に遠いものに感じられます。 収納ボックスを開けると、「海」と書かれたボックスが見つかりました。 最初に私を襲った記憶は、星砂の瓶でした。中のメモは色褪せていたが、しかし、かつて心を込めて書いた最初の行はまだ思い出すことができた。「こんにちは、未来の私。元気ですか？」今回はコルク栓で密封された小さなガラス瓶をたくさん描きました。 皆さんもゆっくりと自分の思い出や好きなものを入れていけたらいいなと思っています。
